Patsy Willey was born December 9, 1942, to Wilma (Willey) Duey in Kansas City, Missouri. Patsy spent most of her years on the family dairy farm near Graff, Missouri. There she attended Embree Church where she loved to worship her Savior.
Patsy was a very hard worker, often seen with a five gallon bucket in hand. She loved to pick walnuts in the fall, was an expert at feeding bottles calves, and worked diligently with her family in the garden. You could hear her whistle at the cows long before you saw her driving them up over the hill to the barn.
Patsy loved everyone she met, especially young children. Friends and family would drive miles to bring their kids to visit with Patsy. Patsy always looked forward to Halloween when she would get to try to guess each of the children in their costumes. Patsy especially loved Christmas, and getting to see the Christmas lights. You could always count on getting a new pair of socks from her from the money she earned by doing extra things to help out. Patsy loved the presents she got in return and had quite a collection of dolls, movies, and music. She also valued the collection of photographs that friends and family had given her over the years. She loved to make albums and she was even more grateful if she could share those treasures with you. Patsy forgave freely, loved unconditionally, and sought the beauty in every part of her life.
Patsy was preceded in death by her loving father, Morris Duey, her brother-in-law, John Frisbee, and her grandmother, Vera Willey, who she will be laid beside to rest.
Patsy is survived by her mother, Wilma Duey, her brother, Tom Duey and his wife, Carol, her sister, Valora Frisbee, her brother, Joe Duey and his wife, Kerri, niece, Tammy Young and her husband, Robert, niece, Jennifer Long and husband, Leigh, niece, Twylia Walker and husband, Chad, nephew, Nathan Duey and his wife, Annie, niece, Crystal Duey and Ian, nephew, Alex Duey and fiancé, Teresa, nephew, Gavin Duey, and niece, Madelyn Duey, and a multitude of great nieces and nephews.
