Oscarbelle Austin

OscarBelle (Tinsley) Austin, daughter of the late Oscar and Essie May (Rumfelt) Tinsley was born on December 24, 1928, in Manes, Missouri, and departed this life on August 21, 2021, at Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains, Missouri. She was 92 years, 7 months, and 28 days of age.

OscarBelle grew up in Wright County and was united in marriage to Frances Oliver Austin on August 21, 1948, in Mountain Home, Arkansas. They made their home in the Mountain Grove area for several years. She was a farm wife. She enjoyed her dogs, cats, chickens, and milk cows. She also liked to listen to country and gospel music and read books. OscarBelle accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age. She was a member of the Prior Freewill Baptist Church.

Besides her parents, OscarBelle was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Frances Austin, and her sister-in-law, Lucille Sherbon.

She is survived by other relatives, friends, and neighbors who will miss her very much.
