Orva Marjorie Orwick, daughter of the late Ocie and Nealie (Hoover) Conley, was born on October 27, 1931 in Ozark County and passed away on November 7, 2009 at the Texas County Memorial Hospital. She was 78 years, and 11 days of age.
Orva grew up in Ozark County and attended the Silver Shade School. On February 28, 1948 Orva married Robert Orwick in Douglas County. Three children were born to this union.
She was saved and baptized in 1958 at the Assembly of God Church in Dora, Missouri. Orva was a homemaker and drove a small school bus. She later moved to Mountain Grove and cleaned houses. She enjoyed crocheting, fishing, singing, and growing flower and vegetable gardens.
Besides her parents, Orva was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, on October 31, 1974; an infant son: Johnnie Ray; one brother: Edmond Conley, and by two sisters: Orpha Rilley and Linda Tracey.
She is survived by two daughters: AnnaBelle Grisham and her husband, Lexie, of Mountain Grove, and Judy Boykin and her husband, Glen, of Norwood, Missouri; three grandchildren: Rick, Cindy, and Jennifer; three great-grandchildren: Mark, Kyle, and Gavin; five step-great-grandchildren: Devin, Cheyenne, Cherokee, Tabie, and Zach; and by many more relatives and friends who will dearly miss her.

Thursday, November 12, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel.

Wednesday, November 11, 2009 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the chapel.
