Norval Ingersoll Wallen, Jr. son of Norval Ingersoll Wallen, Sr. and Marie (Moody) Wallen, was born October 6, 1938, in Ava, Missouri, and departed this life on December 10, 2022, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at the age of 84 years, 2 months, and 4 days.
In April of 1962, he was united in marriage to Myrana Lee Barnes and to this union two children were born.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and daughter, Charessia Horn.
Norval is survived by his wife, Myrana; son Norval Ingersoll Wallen, III and his wife, Pami Diane, of Dardenne Prairie, Missouri; grandchildren, Justin Tyler Horn, Jennifer Diane Wallen, and Stephan Grant Wallen.
He was born in Ava, attended Kemper Military Academy as well as Drury College in Springfield and served his country faithfully in the United States Air Force.
Norval was an electrical engineer and lived most of his adult life in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where he worked for B.F. Goodrich.
He was an aircraft owner and pilot and a member of Alcoholics Anonymous. In his spare time, he enjoyed flying radio-controlled model airplanes.
Norval was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and we have many special memories that we will always treasure.
