Hartville

Norma Faye (Bennett) Willhite, daughter of the late Bob and Ora (Williams) Bennett, was born August 31, 1935, at Grovespring, Missouri, and went home to be with Jesus on August 13, 2024, at the age of 88 years, 11 months, and 13 days.

Norma was united in marriage to William “Dearl” Willhite on June 17, 1953. Four children were born to this union. Four days after they were married, they moved to Lawrence, Kansas. They moved back to Missouri, in 1958, where they bought the John Grimes farm and lived there the remainder of their lives. Norma and their oldest son, Steve, milked Holstein cows until they sold them and went to beef cattle.

Norma accepted Jesus as her personal Lord and Savior in February of 1959, and served Him faithfully all of her life. She shared her love for Jesus with everyone she met.

Besides her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Dearl Willhite, one son, Steve Willhite, one daughter, Kaylene Cardwell, one granddaughter, Britoni Cardwell, two brothers, Burl Bennett and Sonny Bennett, five sisters, Golda Bennett, Bessie Tinsley, Jean Wise, Barbara Kelly, and Kathy Penkert, two sons-in-law, Ed Kincheloe and Randy Childress, her mother-in-law and father-in-law, John and Edna (Coffman) Willhite, one sister-in-law, Diana Willhite, and one brother-in-law, Monroe Willhite.

She is survived by one daughter, Sondra Kincheloe Bennett and her husband, Dorisel, of Lebanon, Missouri, one son, Bobby Willhite and his wife, Melissa, of Hartville, Missouri, one daughter-in-law, Dyann Willhite of Lebanon, Missouri, one sister, Bonnie Wininger of Caldwell, Idaho, three brothers-in-law, Carl Willhite, Donal Willhite, and Leo Willhite and his wife, Ilena, three sisters-in-law, Ethel Bennett, Gladys Pratt, and Alice Pratt and her husband, Bill. Norma felt very blessed with 13 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 26 great-great-grandchildren.

Her greatest wish was to see all of her family and friends in Heaven.
