Norma’s love extended very deeply to her family. She was blessed to meet the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Snyder, with whom she shared a beautiful union that began on July 25, 1966, in Lawrence, Kansas. Together they welcomed two beautiful children, Taunya and Jason, who were the pride and joy of her life. Norma found immeasurable happiness as a grandmother and great-grandmother, making lasting memories with each story, hug, and lesson she shared.
Norma’s life was a testament to her compassion and desire to serve others. She worked in a meaningful career that displayed her passion as a Home Health Aide. She ensured that the needs of the people she served were met, and you could see the love she had for people in every interaction. Norma left a lasting impact on all the lives that she touched.
She had a quest for knowledge and Norma had completed a Master’s degree in Business Administration. She was a proud and independent person who liked to be in control. This is perhaps why she was always the one driving the car and taking charge. Norma also had amazing artistic talent and she painted many beautiful paintings that the family will always cherish. She loved being outdoors and going on nature walks. One of her favorite pastimes was picking mushrooms in the spring with her cousin and best friend, Evelyn Coble. She was also always looking for adventure and a bit of fun, and she enjoyed dreaming of the life that could be while scratching off lottery tickets.
Besides her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Snyder, one brother; Bill Lathrom, and one grandson; Bradley Strube.
Norma is survived by her two children; Taunya Fuller and her husband, Mike, and Jason Snyder, all of Mountain Grove, one sister; Jean Anderson of Mountain Grove, five grandchildren; Robby Strube, Jordan Liska, Ryan Liska, Emma-Lee Snyder, Jason Snyder Jr., and one great-grandchild; Emmett Strube.
