Naomi Lorene (Armstrong) Densel, daughter of the late Harlen Ernest and Laura Viretta (Gunter) Armstrong, was born on February 7, 1933 in Bado, Missouri and went home to be with her Savior on March 18, 2015. She was 82 years, 1 month, and 11 days of age.
Naomi loved growing up on her familys farm. Some of her greatest pleasures in life were her mothers chicken pot pie, milking cows with her parents, attending Lone Star School and being with her siblings. Naomi loved the Bado area with its beautiful creeks and streams.
She greatly enjoyed picnics with her family down by Hamilton Creek. There they would play baseball on Sundays after church. Naomi attended the Union Church as a young girl. This is where her love for our Lord began. Naomis first true passion in life was her relationship with God.
Naomi met her loving husband, Robert C. Densel, in 1949, when their lifelong love began. They were united in marriage on November 4, 1950 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Three children were born to this union: Robert, Gina, and James. Naomi and Bob were the best of friends, who loved each other dearly.
Naomi enjoyed teaching Sunday school at Mountain Grove Full Gospel Church for many years. She loved planting flowers, bird watching, spending time with her family, and reading her Bible.
Naomi will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her, especially her best friend, and husband of nearly 65 years, Bob.
Besides her parents, Naomi was preceded in death by one grandchild: Jesse Joe Mullins.
She is survived by her loving husband, Bob Densel, of the home; two sons: Robert H. Densel of Norwood, Missouri, and James T.
