Nancy A. (Page) Hopper, daughter of the late Luther Allen and Pearlie Emeline (Freeman) Page, was born January 18, 1947, at Brushy Knob, Missouri, and passed away March 3, 2023, at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri. She was 76 years, 1 month, and 13 days of age.
Nancy grew up in the Brushy Knob, Missouri area and enjoyed playing in the branches and creeks that ran behind their house. The family moved to Illinois for a while and later moved to a farm south of Norwood, Missouri, and attended Norwood High School. She loved babies and her desire was to be a mother. She had three daughters and later she added one son to complete her family. After her children were grown and started having children of their own, she loved the times she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Nancy was saved and attended Countryside Church of the Nazarene in Norwood, Missouri. She loved reading and studying her Bible. She also enjoyed doing genealogy learning about her family history. Nancy enjoyed the time she spent with the love of her life, Marlin Hopper, going to the creek, hunting, and hunting for mushrooms.
Besides her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by the love of her life, Marlin Hopper, two brothers, Willard Page and William Page, and one sister, Maxine King.
She is survived by three daughters, Cindy Sullivan and her husband, Chad, Tina Gunning and her husband, Mark, all of Norwood, Missouri, and Candy Hopper Owrey, and her husband, Jimmy, of Springfield, Missouri, one son, Luke Upshaw and his wife, Leann, of Norwood, Missouri, two brothers, Daniel Page and his wife, Beverly, of Norwood, Missouri, and Rickey Page and his wife, Roberta, of Mountain Grove, Missouri, two sisters, Norma James and her husband, Charles, and Susie Parmenter and her husband, Bill, all of Norwood, Missouri, twelve grandchildren and one on the way, seven great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends who will miss her very much.
