Michael Lee Sartor, son of Dan and Shirley (Dunlap) Sartor, was born July 17, 1989, in Mansfield, Missouri, and tragically passed away March 26, 2022, in Ozark County, Missouri, following a boating accident. He was 32 years, 8 months, and 9 days of age.
Michael always managed to find the humor in most situations. He was carefree and “danger” wasn’t a word in his vocabulary. Almost anyone who knew him was guaranteed to utter the phrase, “dang it Mikey,” at least once or twice. Anytime someone needed something he would tell them, “no, but thanks for asking,” as he completed the task that he was asked to do. And, on his way out, it was always, “see ya later, bye.”
Michael enjoyed spending time in the great outdoors. He loved going hunting and fishing and was quite good at it. He was a hard worker and knew his way around the logging woods.
Michael gave his life to the Lord and was baptized October 6, 2019, at Topaz, Missouri.
Michael is survived by his parents, Dan and Shirley Sartor of Mountain Grove, one daughter, Haylee Collins of Mansfield, two brothers, Danny Sartor and wife, Kelli, of Cabool, Missouri, and Levi Sartor of Mountain Grove, one sister, Melissa James and husband, Derek, of Norwood, Missouri, four nephews, Seth Farris, Connor James, Jacob Cramer, and Easton Sartor, three nieces, Audrey James, Alyvia James, and Arabelle Jarrett, as well as many other relatives and friends who will miss him greatly.
