Michael Mckee

Michael Paul McKee, 58, of Mountain Grove, Missouri, passed away January 3, 2022, at his home.

Born in Annapolis, Maryland, on July 25, 1963, Mike was the son of the late Edward Eugene McKee Sr. and Istie Marie (Crisp) McKee. Mike was mischievous, kind-hearted, loved to laugh and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Mike had a sweet disposition and was easy to love.

For more than 14 years Mike resided in the Barber Group Home in Mountain Grove. Due to an injury at the age of 4, Mike spent his life in a wheelchair. He was loved by the staff and residents of the home.

Some of Mike's favorite hobbies were watching sports, movies, and bowling.

Besides his parents, Mike was preceded in death by a sister, Diana Gail McKee, and a brother, Edward McKee Jr.

He is survived by brothers, Kenneth Wayne McKee and husband, Frank Twitty III, of Atlanta, Georgia, David Alan McKee of Akron, Ohio, sister Shirley McKee Beaty and husband, Paul, of Suwanee, Georgia, two nephews and one niece.

Mike will be buried next to his mother in Murphy, North Carolina, at the Peachtree Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery.
