Michael Dale Doyle

Michael Mike Dale Doyle, was born on August 29, 1959 in Sturgis, South Dakota. Mike passed away at home, of natural causes, on March 4, 2015. Mike was an Army Brat all of his childhood. He lived and traveled all around the world.


In May of 1977, Mike graduated high school the top of his class in Seoul, Korea. Mike was a very successful intelligent computer programmer for major retail companies. He was also a very proud member of MENSA. Mike enjoyed computer gaming, reading, and fine dining.


Mike met the love of his life, Brenda, in 1991. They were married on July 30, 2002 in Atlanta, Georgia. Mike never had biological children, but he became a step-parent in 1991, and helped raise two children.


Mike had a deep love for animals, especially poodles. Anyone who truly knew Mike, knew he had a huge heart, and would be the first to help anyone he could anytime.


Mike was preceded in death by his father: COL. Verne Leroy Doyle.


Mike is survived by his wife: Brenda Friend-Doyle; his step-daughter: Jennifer Mullen and her husband, Justin, of Mountain Grove, Missouri; his step-son: Joey Watts of Mountain Grove, Missouri; 6 grandchildren: Kaitlyn Mullen, Brenden Mullen, Joshua Mullen, Addisyn Watts of Mountain Grove, Missouri, D.J. Watts, Jacob Watts of Texas; and several nieces and nephews of Mountain Grove, Missouri.


At Mikes request, there will be no public services for him. Mike will be laid to rest in Black Hills National Cemetery, Sturgis, South Dakota with his father.
