Mary J. Graham, daughter of the late Luther A. and Etoel (Windham) Prim, was born on August 15, 1928 in Columbus, Georgia, and departed this life on Thursday, June 14th at her residence near Drury, Missouri in Douglas County. She was 83 years, 10 months and 29 days of age.
Mary moved to Black, Alabama with her family when she was four years old. She was united in marriage to Thomas J. Keith in 1945. Three sons were born to this union. They made their home in Jacksonville, Florida and Augusta, Georgia.
She married James Ross Graham on March 22, 1951 in Black, Alabama. They then moved to the Mtn. Grove, Missouri area where they made their home. One son, Bobby, was born to this union.
Mary enjoyed reading, sewing, quilting, gardening, cooking, canning, and oil painting. In her later years, she and Ross enjoyed attending singings in the area.
She was a loving and kind wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas Keith; her second husband: James Ross Graham in 2006; one son: Larry Graham in 1962; and by a sister: Elizabeth Neufeld.
She is survived by three sons: James E. Graham and his wife, Jeannie, of Mtn. Grove, Myron L. “Butch” Graham of Norwood, Missouri, and Bobby Graham of Drury, Missouri; one brother: Royce E. Prim of Foley, Alabama; one sister: Jouette Cole of Martinez, Georgia; twelve grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
