Martha Marie Haskell, daughter of the late Miles and Edna (Tripp) Sard, was born on July 31, 1938, in Chautauqua, New York and departed this life on February 25, 2015 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She was 76 years, 6 months, 25 days of age.
Martha was raised in the Ellington, New York area. She graduated from Falconer High School in 1956. She was united in marriage to Frank Haskell on February 3, 1956, in Jamestown, New York. Together they raised four children: DeForest, Frank, George, and Linda.
Martha was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She had a huge heart for all children and all animals. She was a great homemaker and enjoyed collecting antiques, dishes, and other knick knacks. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents; one brother: Butch; and one sister: Ellen.
She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years: Frank Haskell; three sons: DeForest Haskell and his wife, Natalie, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Frank Haskell and his wife, Maria, of Weatherford, Texas; and George Haskell of Weatherford, Texas; one daughter: Linda Schardein and her husband, Rex, of Weatherford, Texas; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral Service: Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home
Burial: The family will schedule at a later date.
