Marjorie Edna (Conner) Sympson

Marjorie Edna Sympson, daughter of William and Edna Belle (Cantrell) Conner, was born on April 30, 1941 in Bentonville, Arkansas and departed this life on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 in the Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston, Missouri. She was 71 years, 4 months and 18 days of age.
Marjorie grew up and attended school in Norwood and Mtn. Grove. She was united in marriage to William Latham Page. This union was blessed with a daughter, Vernabeth. She lived in the Norwood and Mtn. Grove Community most all her life. Marjorie later married Glen Sympson on February 26, 1974. One son, Johnny was born to this union.
Marjorie was a caregiver for the elderly for many years. She was a friend to many in the community and will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her.
She enjoyed cooking, sewing and spending time with her beloved two dogs and her cats. They were her life companions.
She was preceded in death by her father: William Conner; her mother: Edna Spiva; her husband: Glen Symspon; one brother: Max Conner; and by her only grandson: Larry Melton.
She is survived by her daughter: Verna Raney and her husband, Steve, of Mtn. Grove; her son: Johnny Sympson and his wife, Valerie, of Licking, Missouri; three brothers: Larry Conner and his wife, Shirley, of Clever, Missouri, Emmett Spiva and his wife, Shirley, of Willard, Missouri, and Johnny Spiva and Regina Helums of Norwood, Missouri; one sister: Linda Davis of Little Rock, Arkansas; four granddaughter: Shanda Satterfield and her husband, Dell, of Mtn. Grove, Brittany Sullans and her husband, Dillon, of Licking, Missouri, Alana Sympson of Nixa, Missouri, and Chelsea Williams of Licking, Missouri; three great-grandsons: Latham Melton, Braden Melton, and Logan Sullans; and a host of other relatives and friends.

September 21, 2012 at 2:00 PM

in the Craig-Hurtt Chapel.



Visitation: Thursday,
September 20th from 6:00 PM
– 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
