Marilouise Fry, daughter of the late Ed and Helen (Stortenbecker) Sanders, was born on November 26, 1930 in Sargent, Nebraska, and passed away on May 9, 2015 at her daughters home in Rogersville, Misssouri at 84 years of age.
Marilouise grew up in the Silver City, Iowa area. She married Ralph Brewer in 1948. Two children were born to this union. Ralph passed away in 1964. She later married Leo Fry. He brought two children to the marriage and together they raised four children. Leo passed away in 2002.
Marilouise worked for several years at the elementary school cafeteria. She was also a homemaker. She made afghans by the hundreds and gave them away. She greatly enjoyed going to flea markets and collecting owls.
Besides her parents and her husbands, Marilouise was preceded in death by one son: Scott Fry.
She is survived by two sons: Brad Brewer and his wife, Carol, of Arlington, Texas, and Mark Fry and his wife, Claudia, of Houston, Missouri; one step-son: Russ Pendergraff and his wife, Elaine, of New Port Richie, Florida; one daughter: Sandra Gabbert and her husband, Paul, of Rogersville, Missouri; one daughter-in-law: Violet Fry of Mountain Grove, Missouri; one brother: Ed Sanders of Cassville, Missouri; seven grandchildren: Kevin Brewer, Kelly Brewer, Rick Gabbert, Chris Gabbert Johnson, Maria Boehne, Aaron Fry, Jeremiah Fry; eleven great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends.
Visitation: Wednesday, May 13, 2015 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at New Rock Springs Church, north of Mountain Grove.
Funeral Service: Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 2:00 PM at New Rock Springs Church.
Burial: Rock Springs Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions: Hospice Compassus or New Rock Springs c/o the funeral home.
