Margaret Irene Altis

Margaret Irene Altis was born on January 24, 1931 in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada, and passed away on January 30, 2013 in the Kabul Nursing Home in Cabool, Missouri. She was 82 years and 6 days of age.
Margaret moved to the United States where she made her career as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant and caregiver.
Margaret made her home in the Willow Springs, Missouri area and at the time her passing she was a resident of the Kabul Nursing Home.
She was employed several years as a nurse’s aide and caregiver in the area, where she made many friends and enjoyed helping those around her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and by a daughter: Deborah Glenn.
She is survived by two sons: Robert Altis of Newton, North Carolina, and William Altis of Sedalia, Missouri; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Mrs. Altis was cremated under the direction of the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home and the family will hold private services at a later date.
