Mable Irene Smith

Mabel Irene Smith, daughter of the late Richard Henry and Nora Melvina (Klingensmith) Hutsell, was born on December 12, 1920 in Graff, Missouri and departed this life on Saturday, July 26, 2008 in the Autumn Oaks Caring Center in Mtn. Grove, Missouri. She was 87 years, 7 months, and 14 days of age.
Mabel grew up in the Graff Community and attended the Crewse School. She was united in marriage to Dean Smith.
She enjoyed playing the piano and organ. She was saved and baptized at a young age and enjoyed attending church in her younger years.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; four brothers and one sister.
She is survived by one brother: Vance Hutsell of Houston, Missouri; several nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
Graveside services for Mabel Irene Smith were held Tuesday, July 29, 10:00 AM in the Union Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Ratterree officiating. Sue Maggard sang “God On The Mountain,” and “Amazing Grace.” Burial was in the Union Chapel Cemetery under the direction of the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home, Mtn. Grove, Missouri.
