Lyndon Hale Jennings

Lyndon Hale Jennings, son of the late Wilbur Russell and Dorothy Dell (Hinote) Jennings, was born on May 29, 1953 in Mountain Grove, Missouri and went home to be with the Lord on August 8, 2014 in St. Roberts, Missouri at 61 years of age.

Lyndon grew up on a farm in Wright County, Missouri. He graduated from Norwood High School in 1971. Lyndon married Kathleen Ruhling in Lees Summit, Missouri in 1975. Two children were born to this union.

Lyndon was a kind and loving person with many friends. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. He greatly enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was also an avid pool player. Over the last 17 years, Lynn worked at OBs Billards Bar & Grill in St. Roberts, Missouri. Throughout those years he fulfilled many roles, including managerial responsibilities, pool pro, maintaining pool equipment, bartending, etc.

Besides his parents, Lyndon was preceded in death by his sister: Vernice Porter.

He is survived by two sons: Jason Jennings and his wife, Alexis, of Ballwin, Missouri, and Juston Jennings of Lees Summit, Missouri; two granddaughters: Abriella Gisele and Addison Kathleen Jennings; one brother: Lavoid Jennings and his wife, Pat, of Mountain Grove, Missouri; four sisters: Gwineth Moore of Independence, Missouri, Lavonia Todd and her husband, Allen, Juanita Arnold and her husband, Bob, and Judith Schmoeger and her husband, Bill, all of Lees Summit, Missouri; and many other relatives and friends.

Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home.

Visitation:
Wednesday, August 13, 2014 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home.
