Luke Anthony January, age 47, died September 4th, 2015. He was born in Cupertino California on March 10th, 1968, to Noah and Elitta January. The Januarys moved to Missouri when Luke was the age of 5. Luke graduated from Cabool High School in 1986.
He worked in construction as a framing subcontractor and owned his own business for many years.
Luke was a hardworking man who could build or fix anything. He could always improvise his way around any obstacle and think outside the box.
With a passion for the outdoors, he spent much of his spare time hunting, fishing, hiking, and spent many afternoons looking for arrowheads.
Luke was caring beyond words. He had a heart of gold and was always willing to help anyone out. He always said he was, paying it forward. He was an awesome dad, and his children came first in most everything.
He had overcome many obstacles in the past few years; he was devoted and driven by his love for his children, family and God. He was an extremely loving parent, and every aspect of his life had something to do with his family and his faith.
The strength he gained from Christ with his brothers and sisters at Almost Home and family, was key to his ability to succeed as a single parent. He will always be in our hearts and memories until we meet him in glory. Amen.
