Lucille Francis Dobbs

Lucille Francis Dobbs, 78, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at her home in Mountain Grove Missouri. She was born April 28, 1944, in Davenport, Iowa, to Leroy and Dorothy (Schultze) Lagrange.

Lucille attended and graduated from Central High School. She married Ronnie Dobbs on January 11, 1990, in Ava Missouri, and they shared 32 years of love together. Prior to retirement Lucille worked for Walmart in Mountain Grove, Missouri for 17 years.

Spending time with family was what Lucille enjoyed doing most, especially spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, playing computer games, garage sales, and thrift stores. Lucille was an avid NASCAR fan, with Carl Edwards being her favorite.

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Dorothy Langrange, and one infant sister.

She is survived by her six children, Phillip Sloan of Arkansas, Teresa Sloan of Troy, Alabama, Ronnie Dobbs of Davenport, Iowa, Jeanie Dobbs of Davenport, Iowa, Jennifer (Turtle) Schurke and Jody (Glenn) Houghton, 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, her beloved dog, Rosie, other relatives, and friends who will miss her.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Hospice Compassus for their tender love and care of Lucy.

There will be a celebration of life at a later date for family.
