Lorie D. Williams

Lorie Dean Williams, a creative and compassionate soul, passed away on June 9, 2023, she was 48 years, 8 months and 24 days of age. Born on September 19, 1974, in Springfield, Missouri, Lorie dedicated her life to supporting and caring for those around her. As Louisa May Alcott once said, "…love is a great beautifier," and Lorie's love for her family and friends truly made the world a more beautiful place.

Lorie spent her entire life in Mountain Grove, Missouri, graduating from Mountain Grove High School in 1993. She worked at a daycare, as a babysitter, and at Autumn Oaks Caring Center, where her reliable and supportive nature shone brightly. In her free time, Lorie enjoyed collecting rocks and anything with roosters and frogs. She used her artistic ability by coloring in her coloring books. Another favorite pastime was going to the creek with her loved ones. Her hobbies were a testament to her creative spirit and her appreciation for the beauty in the world around her.

Lorie is survived by her loving spouse, Joe Williams; her daughter, Trixie Bonds; her brother, Kevin Allsman; her sister, Robin Homer; and her aunt, Sue Davault. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Jennita Allsman. Lorie's legacy of compassion, creativity, and unwavering support will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
