Lonnie Wayne James, son of the late Lonnie Harold and Janet Irene (James) James, was born on August 11, 1958 in Kansas City, Missouri and passed away on Monday, September 14, 2009 at his residence in Mtn. Grove, Missouri. He was 51 years, 1 month, and 3 days of age.
Lonnie grew up in Excelsior Springs, Missouri and graduated from Reeds Spring High School in 1976. He was employed as a custodian at Reeds Spring High School and he also helped maintain KOA Campgrounds.
He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He had a great love for his family and will be truly missed by those who knew and loved him.
He was saved at an early age and recently rededicated his life to the Lord.
He was preceded in death by his father: Lonnie Harold James; his mother: Janet Irene Baker: and by a sister: Alice Perinne.
He is survived by one brother: Jimmy F. James of Mtn. Grove; four sisters: Linda Shannon and her husband, James, Norma Lorraine, and Kathy Ipock and her husband, Tony, all of Mtn. Grove, and Debbie Blair and her husband, Karl, of Ozark, Missouri; his step-father: Earl Baker of Cabool, Missouri; three nephews: Keith Lorraine and special friend, Stephanie Myers, Matthew Lorraine and Karl Blair, Jr.; eight nieces: Tonya Anderson, Tracy Zigmantas, Kelsea Lorraine, Alicia Lorraine, Samantha Ipock, Alexis Ipock, Brooke Ipock and Janet Blair; two great-nephews; three great-nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends.
