Lois Evelyn Dugger, daughter of the late Archie and Jewell (Moore) Gann, was born December 25, 1928, in Wright County, Missouri, and departed this life July 15, 2017, at her home in Mountain Grove, Missouri. She was 88 years, 6 months, and 20 days of age.
Lois was raised in Wright County and attended school in Hartville, Missouri, in a one-room school house. She married Harry Dugger on June 25, 1949 in Hartville. Five children were born to this union.
Lois was a waitress most of her life and greatly enjoyed her work. She also loved to cook and especially loved cooking for her family. She was the kind of person that enjoyed taking care of others. When she was younger, she gardened and canned her produce every year. She also enjoyed sewing, quilting, and making crafts, including making several rabbits, cows, and pigs.
Besides her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Harry, one son, Gary Dugger, one daughter, Brenda Howard, two brothers, Allen and Vernon Gann, and one sister, Vivian Hunt.
She is survived by one son, Dale Dugger and his wife, Janet, of Springfield, Missouri, two daughters, Virginia Dugger and Carol Johnston and her husband, Jerry, and one daughter-in-law, Karen Dugger, all of Mountain Grove, eighteen grandchildren, forty-five great-grandchildren, ten great-great-grandchildren, one great-great-great-grandchild, and many other relatives and friends who will dearly miss her.
