Lois Causey

Lois Elaine Causey, daughter of the late Murrell and Ruby (Weatherman) Sanders, was born February 19, 1957, in Mountain Grove, Missouri, and departed this life July 11, 2023, in Springfield, Missouri, following a short illness. She was 66 years, 4 months, and 22 days of age.

Lois grew up and went to school in Cabool, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Mike Causey on April 14, 1979, in Dunn, Missouri.

Lois worked at several jobs over her lifetime but the one she was most known for was working as one of the store managers for Richards Brothers Grocery Store in Mountain Grove. Lois always had a smile and a quick wit. She was easy to talk to and very friendly which made her loved by everyone she met.

Besides her parents, Lois was preceded in death by three siblings, Ronald Sanders, Leonard Sanders, and Debbie Archer.

Lois is survived by her husband, Mike Causey of the home; two brothers, Rodger Sanders of North Carolina, and Lyle Sanders of South Carolina; two sisters, Sharon Skaggs of Mountain Grove, and Jewel Rose of Carthage, Missouri; many nephews and nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
