Linda Sue Terrill, of Seymour Missouri, passed Saturday, November 18, 2023, in Springfield, Missouri, at the Springfield Rehabilitation and Medical Center, after her battle with breast cancer.
Linda was born in Springfield, Missouri, on October 11, 1961, to Willard and Hazel Terrill. She attended Seymour school and lived in Seymour the majority of her life. She worked in the restaurant industry and loved being a cook. She often told stories of all of her years in the food industry, and her dream was to one day open up her very own restaurant or food truck. She loved coming up with her own unique recipes and was always eager for others to try them. In the summertime, you would see her set up across from the bank selling watermelon. In her spare time, she loved to go fishing, and went every opportunity she had. She enjoyed taking a long drive through the country, playing her favorite music, while looking for deer, and just to enjoy the scenery. She loved playing pool, and she would rub it in your face if she beat you. Most of all, Linda loved her family. They were the most important thing to her. She was most happy when her house was full of all the people that she cared most about. Linda loved the Lord and came to know Christ at a very young age. She often sang old hymns and had a beautiful voice.
Linda was preceded in death by her father, Willard Terrill, her mother, Hazel Terrill, one brother, Lowell "Bub" Terrill, and one sister, Mary Detta Terrill.
Linda is survived by one sister, Janice Coleman of Boliver, and two brothers, Denzil Terrill and his wife, Sheila, of Ozark, Missouri, and Charlie Terrill of Seymour, Missouri, lots of nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends who will miss her.
