Linda Pauline Parsons

Linda Pauline Parsons, daughter of the late Guy Frederick and Francis (Feek) Gilbert, was born November 25, 1955 in Leavenworth Kansas and departed this life suddenly on May 23, 2014 at her home in Mountain Grove, Missouri. She was 58 years of age.
Linda was raised in Leavenworth and moved to Mountain Grove at the age of 17. She lived in the Mountain Grove area until her passing.
Linda was married to Richard Parsons on November 1, 1991 in Wright County. Two children were born to this union.
She worked as a CNA for many years at Autumn Oaks Caring Center in Mountain Grove and at Kabul Nursing Home. She enjoyed working until her health started failing and forced her to retire.
Linda loved to play games with her grandchildren. She also like to garden, fish, and play Bingo. She greatly enjoyed time spent with her family.
Besides her parents, Linda was preceded in death by one daughter: Paula Gilbert; and by three brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by her husband: Richard Parsons; one daughter: Mechille Binkley and her husband, Shane, of Mountain Grove; one brother: Albert Gilbert of Mountain Grove; five grandchildren: Kaylynn Gilbert, Sammi Riggins, Guy Riggins, Easton Binkley, Kara Binkley, Caleb Binkley; one great-grandchild; and many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.


Graveside Services: Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Burial: Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Mountain Grove.
