Linda Hensley

May 15, 1946 — October 7, 2022

Linda Sue (Harley) Hensley, daughter of the late Cecil and Helen (Haskins) Harley, was born May 15, 1946, in Wendell, Idaho, and passed away October 7, 2022, at her home in Hartville, Missouri. She was 76 years, 4 months, and 23 days of age.

Linda grew up and attended school in Wendell, Idaho, until her family moved to Missouri when she was in her late teens. She married Arthur Dugger in 1963 and two daughters were born to this union: Tammy and Shelia. Later, she married Donnie Hensley in 1974 and two daughters were born to this union: Gerri and Tracy. From the beginning of her career, Linda has been a laborer in different factories, mostly working as a seamstress.

In her spare time, she liked to go dancing with friends, especially Margaret Maltby and her family. Linda loved to dress up and she took pride in always looking her best. She was always up for an adventure whenever her friends and family would ask her to go. Some of her favorite trips included a cruise to Mexico with her daughters and going to the beach in Florida. She also loved to go on road trips and take scenic drives. In recent years, Linda loved doing crafts with friends. She and her friends took turns gathering at each other’s houses weekly to do crafts and eat snacks.

Linda had a big heart and enjoyed chauffeuring any of her friends and family who needed a ride to a doctor’s appointment or the grocery store. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially when they had a cookout or a family gathering.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Hensley, one granddaughter, Casey Napier, three sisters, Ann Harley, Jo Moore, and Jean Griffin.

Linda is survived by four daughters, Tammy Napier and her husband, Tony, of Hartville, Missouri, Shelia Napier and her husband, Tom, of Hartville, Missouri, Gerri Bolduc and her husband, Richard, of Huntsville, Alabama, and Tracy Sparks and her husband, Joey, of Seymour, Missouri, nine grandchildren, Nick Napier, Ethen Napier and his wife, Christina, Neithan Napier, Kyle Napier, Dylan Bolduc, Emma Bolduc, Cole Ratterree, Savannah Sparks, and Sophia Sparks, ten great-grandchildren, Dalton, Chloe, Easton, Zoey, Weston, Jaxston, Kelly, Hunter, Hoyt, and Wyatt, and many friends who will miss her.
