Linda Lou Bigelow was born in Seymour, Missouri, to Louis Archie Frazier and Helen Louise (Matney) Morris on March 6, 1946. She graduated from Seymour High School, class of 1964.
Linda had a strong work ethic and a vibrant spirit. She worked at H.D. Lee in Seymour for several years before moving to Springfield, Missouri, where she was employed at General Electric for twenty years. On July 4, 1987, Linda was united in marriage to Wesley Allen Bigelow in Seattle, Washington. While in Seattle, she was hired as an Executive Administrator at Boeing in 1990. After retiring in 2009, she returned to be closer to her beloved family in Missouri.
Linda enjoyed a life filled with simple pleasures—gardening, walking, traveling, and spending time outdoors. She especially loved being with her family and had a special way of bringing joy and sass to any gathering. She had deep gratitude for a good life and often expressed her thankfulness for the blessings she experienced along the way.
Linda departed this life on January 17, 2025, at her home in Ozark, Missouri, at the age of 78 years, 10 months, and 11 days.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Wesley, in 2022.
She is survived by her daughter, April Virden and husband, Richard, of Springfield, Missouri; grandson, Nick Virden and wife, Rachel, of Springdale, Arkansas; great-grandsons, Mason and Bennett; her brother, Leland Ray Frazier and wife, Earlene, of Buffalo, Missouri; along with many other cherished relatives and friends.
Linda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Her warmth, humor, and love will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever be celebrated.
