Levi James Keller, son of Mark and Angelia (Miller) Keller, was born on March 14, 1994 and departed this life suddenly on July 31, 2011 at the age of 17 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Levi attended the Willow Springs School from Kindergarten through the 5th grade. He then attended Mountain Grove Schools and at the time of his passing, was preparing for his senior year. Levi was saved at the age of 7 and baptized at the age of 9. He rededicated his life at a service at Camp Joy on July 29th. Levi attended the Gentryville Church of God where he was involved in their Youth Group.
Levi was very passionate about hunting and fishing. He was especially competitive with his older brother, Ryan, in his hunting and fishing endeavors. Levi also loved the farm. He always had big ideas for his mom and dad to accomplish. He was an avid Future Farmers of America member and loved to participate in the FFA trips. Levi had recently joined the Eastern Douglas County Fire Department and was proud to be a member of the team. He was very proud to wear his uniform and badge. When his dad asked him why he wanted to be a fire fighter, his reply was that he just wanted to help people.
Levi had fun in life and was considered a prankster. He enjoyed playing jokes on anyone that was available. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.
