Lestel Ray Fagan, Sr.

Lestel Ray Fagan son of Howard and Effie (Long) Fagan, was born on December 31, 1950 in Ash Grove, Missouri and departed this life on April 4, 2015 in Houston, Texas. He was 64 years, 3 months, and 4 days of age.

On May 25, 1994, Lestel was united in marriage to Patricia Ellis in Ozark, Missouri. Lestel was the loving father of one son: Lestel Fagan, Jr; and one daughter: Tammy Keeling.

Lestel worked for 31 years at A1 Muffler and Repair in Springfield, Missouri. He loved riding his motorcycle and traveling around. Lestel accepted Jesus as his Savior 20 years ago.

Besides his parents, Lestel was preceded in death by his sister: Wanda; brothers: Howard Jr., Calvin, and John.

Lestel is survived by his wife: Patricia of their home in Springfield, Missouri; children: Lestel, Jr. and Tammy Rae Keeling of Springfield, Missouri, Tammi Miller, Deanna Miller, Angela and Jim Ellis, Cecelia and Jeff Havens, James (Buck) and Alechia Ellis; brothers: Bill and Sue Fagan of Taft, California, Homer and Marlene Fagan of Oak Run, California, and Noel and Rena Fagan of Vacaville, California; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many other family and friends who will miss him dearly.


Visitation: Thursday, April 16, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home.

Funeral Services: Friday, April 17, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home.
