Leonard Harold Ballard

Leonard Harold Ballard, son of the late Lawrence G. and Dorothy E. (Hoke) Ballard, was born January 16, 1932 and passed away September 4, 2014, in Las Vegas, Nevada, at 82 years of age.

Leonard loved his heavenly Father and was a living example of hard work, generosity and compassion. He was successful beyond his dreams and he shared those blessings with family and friends. We will always remember him as a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Leonard was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years: Fern E. Ballard.

He is survived by his loving wife: Carolyn Sue (Smart) Ballard; one son: Phillip Ballard; and two daughters: Linda Clark and Diane McVeda; nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.


Visitation: Saturday, September 13, 2014 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM in the Craig-Hurtt Chapel.

Funeral Service: Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Craig-Hurtt Chapel.

Burial: Number One Cemetery, Huggins, Missouri
