Lee Roy Bradshaw

February 17, 1924 — October 4, 2011

Lee Roy “Shoog” Bradshaw, son of the late John B. and Thula Mae (Etheridge) Bradshaw, was born on February 17, 1924 in Norwood, Missouri, and departed this life on October 4, 2011 in the Kabul Nursing Home in Cabool, Missouri, at 87 years of age.
Lee grew up and attended school in the Norwood area. He was united in marriage to Jessie Irene Middleton on October 5, 1945 in Norwood, Missouri. One son was born to this union. Lee was employed by Frisco Railroad as a lineman for almost forty years. He retired in 1980. Mrs. Bradshaw passed away on June 21, 1995.
Lee enjoyed spending time on his farm and raising beef cattle. He liked visiting with his friends at the truck stop and McDonald’s. He also enjoyed going to area auctions.
Lee treated everyone like he wanted to be treated. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother uncle and friend. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
Besides his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by three brothers: Lester Bradshaw, Don Bradshaw, and Gene Bradshaw; and by two brothers-in-law: Lester Davidson and Bob Sinning; and by a sister-in-law: Jean Shaw.
Lee is survived by his son: Jerry Lee Bradshaw of Galena, Missouri; two grandchildren: Cindy Slater and Jeff Bradshaw; seven great-grandchildren: Darin Slater, Joey Slater, Jerred Slater, Jakob Slater, Zach Bradshaw, Justin Bradshaw, and Courtney Hickam; one brother: Luther Bradshaw and his wife, Pauline, of Norwood, Missouri; three sisters: Edith Sinning and her husband, Jim, of Mtn. Grove, Juanita Sinning of Norwood, Missouri, and Betty Davidson of Mtn. Grove, Missouri; a brother-in-law: Curtis Shaw of Mtn. Grove, Missouri; two sisters-in law and their husbands: Lola and Archie Skaggs and Wanda and Maxie Gaddis, all of Mtn. Grove, Missouri; several nieces; nephews; great-nieces; great-nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
