Larry Dean Cooper

Larry Dean Cooper, son of the late Fred Jackson and Edna Pearl (Davis) Cooper, was born January 8, 1953, in Mountain Grove, Missouri, and departed this life May 8, 2018, at Mercy Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri. He was 65 years and 4 months of age.

Larry married Michele Schmaling on May 3, 1986, in Elm Springs, Arkansas. Three daughters were born to this union.

Larry’s love and hobby was to spend time riding his Harley as many places as he could and working on it in the house. He also enjoyed his job as a truck driver, driving his Peterbilt across the country.

Larry was a proud and loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He never let his family forget the amazing people his parents were. He was also a story teller and a joke teller, and he enjoyed singing in private to his kids and grandkids. Larry was a Christian man who had a personal relationship with the Lord.

Besides his parents, Larry was preceded in death by one brother, Les Cooper.

He is survived by Michele Cooper of Mountain Grove, three daughters, Jessica Cooper of Gassville, Arkansas, Jamie Patterson and her husband, Rob, of Springfield, Missouri, and Lillian Cooper of Mountain Home, Arkansas, four brothers, Jerry Cooper and his wife, Sherry, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Dennis Cooper and his wife, Karen, of Goshen, Arkansas, Kenneth Cooper and his wife, Rebecca, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Jack Prine of Springdale, Arkansas, six grandchildren, Kaiden, Oliver, Omni, Jameson, Gracelyn, and Champion, and other relatives and friends who will miss him.
