Kenneth 'Ric' Redding

November 16, 1984 — February 18, 2010

Kenneth “Ric” Redding, son of Randy Redding and Bonnie (Banks) Redding, was born on November 16, 1984 in West Monroe, LA and departed this life on February 18, 2010 at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia after a short illness. He was 25 years, 3 months, and 3 days of age.
Ric’s family moved to Mountain Grove when he was 12. He graduated from Mountain Grove High School in 2004. Ric joined the Air Force after graduation from high school and served our country as an Air Force Fireman for 61/2 years. Ric married Kandiss Burleson on June 10, 2006. One son was born to this union.
Ric was a loving father, son, brother, and grandson and was loved by many. His smile was contagious and he never met a stranger. Ric enjoyed playing football in high school and was an avid deer and turkey hunter. He was saved and baptized as a young man.
Ric is survived by his wife: Kandiss B. Redding; one son: Koen Redding; his parents: Bonnie Banks Redding of Mountain Grove and Randy Redding of Monroe, LA; two brothers: Craig Redding of Mountian Grove, MO and Kristopher Redding of West Monroe, LA currently in Iraq; his grandparents: Elmer and Frances Banks of Vanzant, MO; and Kenneth Redding and Shirley Johnson of Monroe, LA; and many other cousins, aunts, uncles, friends, and servicemen who will all miss him.

Thursday, February 25, 2:00 PM in the Craig-Hurtt Chapel
Visitation:
Wednesday, February 24, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM in the Craig-Hurtt Chapel

Hillcrest Cemetery
