Kenneth Lee Carder

Kenneth Lee Carder, son of Lester and Edna Mae (Carter) Carder, was born on June 8, 1947 in Green Mountain, Missouri north of Mtn. Grove and departed this life on January 7, 2009 at his residence near Norwood, Missouri. He was 61 years, 7 months and 29 days of age.
Kenneth grew up in the Green Mountain Community and attended school in Manes and Mtn. Grove. He was the father of five children.
Kenneth farmed for many years and enjoyed the outdoors, especially when hunting, fishing, and gardening. He also enjoyed working mules along with his father on the farm. He loved his family very much and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Kenneth was united in marriage to Debbie Hall on October 1, 1996 in Mtn. Grove. One daughter was born to this union. They made their home south of Mtn. Grove on ZZ Highway.
He was preceded in death by his mother: Edna Carder; one daughter: Sheila Carder; one brother: Ronald Carder; and by an infant sister: Imogene Carder.
He is survived by his wife: Debbie Carder of their home; two sons: Jeff Carder and his wife, Misti, of Vanzant, Missouri and Wayne Akers of the State of Idaho; three daughters: Debbie Kelley and her husband, Mike, of Pleasant Hope, Missouri, Donna Sanson of Phillipsburg, Missouri, and Ashley Carder of Norwood, Missouri; his father: Lester Carder; one brother: Gary Carder and his wife, Pam, of Mtn. Grove; three sisters: Geraldine Volner and her husband, Ulas, of Mtn. Grove, Loretta Stout and her husband, Rick, of Drury, Missouri and Janet Miller and her husband, Bob, of Mtn. Grove; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends who will truly miss him.


Funeral Service:
Friday, January 9, 2:00 PM in the Craig-Hurtt Chapel.
No Formal Visitation:
Ready for viewing after 8:00 AM on Friday.
