Ken Harris

August 16, 1942 — June 17, 2022

Ken Harris, son of Kenneth Leslie and Gladys (Meints) Harris, was born August 16, 1942, in Malta, Illinois. He departed this life June 17, 2022, at 79 years old.

Ken was a hard worker and worked as a barber for over 30 years. He owned Ken’s Hair Design in Hartville. Ken married Rose McCoy on September 28, 2000, in Hawaii.

Ken was proud to be an active member of the Hartville Lions Club and was a lifetime member of JCI USA. He loved his cows, farming, and being a barber. Ken really enjoyed visiting with people, working, and being involved in his community. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be missed so much.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Dennis Harris, and a granddaughter, Brandy Buttram.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Rose Harris of Hartville, Missouri, a daughter, Angela Farmer of Herculaneum, Missouri, step-daughter, Renee Coltrane and husband, Wayne, of Hartville, Missouri, eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren on the way, a sister, Andrea Woodyatt and husband, Skip, of Tennessee, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
