Kelli Ilene Nolan, daughter of Harry McClanahan and Lois (Sisco) Seaman, was born on May 11, 1961 in Bakersfield, California, and departed this life on February 8, 2008 at her son’s residence in Brainerd, Minnesota, following a long battle with cancer.
Kelli moved with her family to Missouri in 2001. She was employed as a special education teacher for Seymour High School in Seymour, Missouri. She enjoyed teaching, canoeing, traveling, dancing, spending time outdoors, playing games and reading.
She was a very outgoing, loving and adventurous person. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
In 2004, she met her life long partner, Chris Curtis of Hartville, Missouri. They had recently bought their home in Hartville and were remodeling it.
She is survived by her two sons: Daniel McClanahan of Brainerd, Minnesota and Jared Nolan of Springfield, Missouri; her daughter: Deloni Nolan of Springfield, Missouri; her mother: Lois Seaman of Pequot Lakes, Minnesota; her father: Harry McClanahan of Seattle, Washington; three brothers: Gregory Sisco, Jeff McClanahan, and Kenneth McClanahan; two sisters: Amy Launt and Peggy McClanahan; her grandparents: Gusta Sisco and Catherine Sisco; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her very much.
Graveside services were held Saturday, February 16, 10:00 AM in the Cold Springs Cemetery with Rev. Floyd O’Guin Officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home, Mtn. Grove, Missouri. In lieu of flowers: contributions to Seymour High School c/o the funeral home.
Graveside Services: Saturday, February 16, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the Cold Springs Cemetery.
Visitation: Friday, February 15 from 7:00 - 8:00 PM in the Craig-Hurtt Chapel.
Burial: Cold Springs Cemetery
