Kelley Ann Garson-Whittenburg was born on June 2, 1971 in Mansfield, Missouri, and departed this life on July 25, 2014 in the Cox South Medical Center of Springfield, Missouri. She was 43 years, 1 month, and 23 days of age.Kelley lived most of her life in Hartville, Missouri. She was a kind and caring person who had many friends. She enjoyed loving and caring for her son, R.J. She liked reading books, traveling, and visiting with friends. She enjoyed family get togethers and especially enjoyed spending time with her nephew, Holdyn. Family was always very important to her. She was devoted to her career as a CNA and was very good at her job. Kelley was saved and loved spending time with her church family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.Kelley was preceded in death by her father: Carl Amburgey; an infant daughter: Kayanna Lynn Whittenburg; her late husband: Ray Garson; paternal grandfather: Kelly Amburgey; maternal grandfather: Ernest Lawson; maternal grandmother: Geneva Lawson; and an uncle; Sammy Lawson.She is survived by her husband: Roy Whittenburg; one son: R.J. Garson; parents: Barbara and John Kearns; her mother-in-law: Martha Utter; three brothers: Jr. Kearns and wife, Casey, Wesley Kearns, and Steven Amburgey; three sisters: Tonya Garson and Joey Calton, Lynn Berry and husband, John, and Kim Polly and husband, Michael; a brother-in-law: Kenny Garson; a sister-in-law: Penny Garson; nieces and nephews: Ricky Garson, Pvt. Devin Garson, Bryanna Garson, Holdyn Chastain, Joie Lynn Calton, Chaseton Calton, Shaylee Calton, Shawn Berry, Crystal Berry, Kimber Berry, Austin Polly, and Devin Polly; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.


Visitation: Wednesday, July 30, 2014 from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM in the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home.

Graveside Service: Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Bethel Cemetery.

Burial: Bethel Cemetery located near Hartville, Missouri
