Kathern Miller

December 23, 1963 — December 29, 2023

Kathern Ann Miller, most commonly known as Kathy, passed away peacefully in her home on December 29, 2023, at the age of 60 years and 6 days.

Kathy was born on December 23, 1963, in Salem, Arkansas, to Bill Jackson and Barbara (McClure) Jackson.

When Kathy left us, she was healed from all the pain and suffering that she endured here on earth. Her transition to heaven was undoubtedly a first-class ride to heaven in an old blue and white Ford pickup where she was greeted by loved ones.

Kathy was united in marriage to Sam Miller on April 26, 2002. At this time, Kathy also gained a daughter, Joely Russell, that she loved very much. Kathy and Sam didn't have children of their own but adopted fur babies as their children.

Kathy was loved by many people for her kind and loving heart. She will be remembered by her loved ones as a cherished individual who left an indelible mark on their lives that simply will not ever be erased.

Although we will miss her earthly presence, we take comfort that she can now rest in peace and that she is rejoicing with loved ones who passed on before her.

Kathy was preceded in death by her dad, Bill Jackson, first husband Charles (Chuck) Hill, special family friends, Duane Watkins and Dean Brown, and her fur babies Heather, Danger, Daisy Mae, and Festus.

She is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Sam Miller, stepdaughter, Joely (Anthony, Evan, Josie, Dusty), her fur babies Annie, Horseshack (Lincoln), and Ginger, her mom, Barbara Jackson, mother-in-law, Toni Ates, brother, Sherman Jackson, two sisters Nancy Jackson-Bean and Louise Vagenas, niece Nikki (Toby, Sophie, Ruby, Laynie, Leo), nephew Jon (Tara, Rose, Dominic, Bryan), niece Kasandra (Karl, Aiden, Carson).

Additional survivors include step-mother, Audra (Maynard) Jackson and step-siblings Dwayne (Sue), Randy (Cindy), Regina (Ed), Robert, Danny (Glenda), and Dianna (Ralph) and their children and grandchildren.

Kathy will be remembered as a blessing to many lives and as one of the strongest, bravest, most unique souls to walk the earth.

She loved her family and fur babies with all her being and enjoyed the musical styling of Cher, Bon Jovi, and Keith Urban. She loved her Dr. Pepper, eating her cheesecake and watching Yellowstone.

Although we will miss her sweet and spunky soul here on earth, we are thankful for the time we were given and take comfort that our new angel is healed and with loved ones and that she will be watching over us. She will continue to live within us through our memories.

At her request, a service will not be held. In the words of the great Bon Jovi, until we meet again, we will keep livin' on a prayer.
