Kahden Skylar Allen Mcgraw

Kahden Skylar Allen McGraw, son of Devin and Delaine (Schroeder) McGraw, was born July 18, 2014 at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri. On September 9, 2014, at St. Louis Childrens Hospital, Heaven gained the most beautiful angel and Baby K earned his wings. He was seven and one-half weeks old.

The specialist said there was no hope for Kahden. Two options were presented to Kahdens parents. The options were to abort or finish the pregnancy. It was said that, at birth, Kahden would be blue, underweight, and would die in his mothers arms if he made it full term. Proving the specialist wrong, Kahden was born a pink, 7 pounds 5 ounces, 19.7 inches long, big boy! However, he was born with two serious defects, Tetralogy of Fallot and Diaphragmatic Hernia. He again wasnt given much of a chance of survival. He underwent a successful surgery for the Diaphragmatic Hernia but was unable to receive the other surgery needed.

Although Kahdens time on earth with us was short, he touched many lives. We will forever praise God for sending Kahden to be a witness to so many.

Survivors include his parents: Devin and Delaine McGraw; paternal grandparents: Bobby and Cindy McGraw; maternal grandparents: Rick and Nikki Schroeder; paternal great-grandparents: Lexie and Ann Grisham, Butch and Jeri Conine, and Eddie McGraw; maternal great-grandparents: Dale and Della Alderson, Mary Caudill, and Gene and Velma Schroeder; uncles: Gavin McGraw and Seth Schroeder; aunts: Cheyenne McGraw, Cherokee McGraw, Brittany Schroeder, Breanna Wallace, and Destiny Garrard; great-uncle: Rick Grisham; great-aunts: Cheri Grisham and Virgina Crank; and a host of other relatives and friends.


Visitation: Saturday, September 13, 2014 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Union Grove/Caudle Church.

Funeral Service: Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Union Grove/Caudle Church.

Burial: Hillcrest Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions: McGraw family memorial fund in c/o the funeral home.
