June Rose (Christofferson) Daley, daughter of the late Sherman A. and Birdie (Gleason) Christofferson, was born June 3, 1936, in Le Grand, Iowa, and passed away January 18, 2018, in Springfield, Missouri. She was 81 years, 7 months, and 15 days of age.
June was raised in Galesburg, Illinois. She later moved to Visalia, California, where she met Paul Taylor-Daley. They were married on July 14, 1962. Three daughters were born to this union: Carmela, Rosemarie, and Paula.
June was saved and baptized as a young girl.
June worked for Jostens American Yearbook Company for twenty-five years. After retirement, she moved to Mountain Grove to spend time with family. She enjoyed crocheting, singing, reading, studying her Bible, and watching her great-grandchildren. June was able to spend her last years living with her granddaughter, Paulanne, and her husband, Melvin.
Besides her parents, June was preceded in death by her husband, Paul, her siblings, Otto Christofferson, Hazel Christofferson, Dawn Brown, Pete Christofferson, Charlotte Dixon, Lucille Miller, and Robert Christofferson.
She is survived by her three daughters, Carmela L. Taylor of Alamogordo, New Mexico, Rosemarie L. Taylor, and Paula June Gilbert, both of Springfield, Missouri, four brothers, Phillip, Bill, and Jim, all of the state of Illinois, and Larry of the state of California, two sisters, Ruth of the state of Idaho, and Gerna of Branson, Missouri, sixteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends who will greatly miss her.
