June Ella Bradshaw

June Ella Bradshaw, daughter of the late Thomas and Nettie (King) Forrest, was born on May 28, 1924 in Norwood, Missouri, and passed away on January 5, 2016 at Glendale Gardens in Springfield, Missouri. She was 91 years, 7 months, and 8 days of age.
June was born and raised in Norwood and spent her whole life in the Norwood community. She married Howard Bradshaw on June 21, 1938 at Macomb, Missouri. Seven children were born to this union. They were married for 62 years before Howards passing on August 1, 2000.
June worked for Tobin-Hamilton Shoe Factory in Mansfield, Missouri and retired after 30 years of service. June was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She also enjoyed sewing and quilting and made many quilts over the years for family members. June loved to bowl and was on a bowling league for many years.
Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons: Henry Hank Bradshaw and Leon Bradshaw; one daughter: Patty Strunk; one grandson: Ricky Woods; one son-in-law: Donnie Saladin; three brothers: Tommy Forrest, Tipton Dockie Forrest, and Ivan Buck Forrest; and one sister: Jacki Siemans.
She is survived by one son: Gene Bradshaw and Donna Coday of Norwood, Missouri; three daughters: Mary Woods and her husband, Dennis, of Springfield, Missouri, Barbara Saladin of Norwood, Missouri, and Annetta Finch and her husband, Mike, of Mountain Grove, Missouri; one daughter-in-law: Rita Bradshaw of Mountain Grove, Missouri; Hanks longtime companion: Sara Brown of Mansfield, Missouri; one brother: John Moody of Springfield, Missouri; two sisters: Marion Marcy of Leoti, Kansas, and Boots Gerhardt of Nixa, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends who will greatly miss her.
