Judith (Clark) Richie

Judith (Clark) Richie, daughter of the late Millard and Emma (Lawson) Clark, was born on October 28, 1940 in Champaign, Illinois, and departed this life on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 in the Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, at 72 years of age.
Judith grew up in Decatur, Illinois and graduated high school in Middletown, Ohio. She later graduated from the Eastern Illinois University. She was united in marriage to Dave Richie on September 10, 1960 in Middletown, Ohio. One daughter, Tory, was born to this union.
Judith enjoyed being outdoors, especially when working in the yard and tending to her flower gardens. In her spare time, she loved working with her dogs and Arabian horses. She also liked to read classical books and do personal writing, which was her passion..
Judith was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She will be truly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Judith enjoyed attending services at the First Christian Church in Mtn. Grove as long as her health permitted.
She is survived by her husband: Dave Richie of Mtn. Grove; her daughter: Tory Spurgin and her husband, Brent, of Macomb, Missouri; one sister: Joy Cunningham of Bethany, Connecticut; three grandchildren: Rachael McLennan, Rebecca McLennan, and Connor McLennan; two great-grandchildren: Ivy Holman and Dorian Holman; and other relatives and friends.


Visitation: No Formal Visitation.

12:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Thursday,

March 28th in the funeral home.
