John Hawthorne

John Hawthorne was born February 20, 1945, in San Francisco, California, to parents Chester and Leontine (Summers) Hawthorne. He passed on January 24, 2022, in Cabool, Missouri. John was 76 years, 11 months, and 4 days of age.

John graduated from Avondale High School in Decatur, Georgia, and then served in the Marines.

John married Louise Richards Davis on August 4, 1991. He worked many years as a warehouse manager.

John enjoyed watching football and loved watching the Georgia Bulldogs win the College Football National Championship this year.

Besides his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Hawthorne, and sister, Janet Mackie.

He is survived by his sons, Danny Hawthorne and Rusty Davis, two sisters, Carol Moran and Darlene McCollum, two grandsons, one granddaughter, nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

John will be buried at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta, Georgia.
