Joe grew up in the Norwood community and graduated from Norwood High School with the class of 1964. He married Teresa Bradshaw on August 11, 1972, in Macomb. Three sons and one daughter were born to this union. His daughter was the first girl born to the Chadwell family in 100 years.
Joe was saved and baptized at a young age and professed his faith in Christ. He served Wright County as Circuit Clerk and Recorder for thirty-two years. He also taught school in Cabool for eight years and was a dairy and beef farmer, spending forty years in the dairy industry. After retirement, he enjoyed being on the farm and traveling with his wife and friends. Joe had many great friends which he also loved spending time with at deer camp and on trail rides. He had a ’57 Chevy and greatly enjoyed going to car shows with Junior Pasley. He also enjoyed having Beagle dogs and taking them hunting.
Most importantly, Joe loved his family and every minute he was able to spend with them. He was a huge fan of his kids and grandkids in their sporting events. His family was the light of his life and he will be truly missed.
