Joan Fleetwood

Joan (Moore) Fleetwood was born October 3, 1935, to Vernon Paul and Verba Arvella (Ashley) Moore in Seymour, Missouri. She passed away in Rogersville, Missouri on August 25, 2023. She was 87 years, 10 months, and 22 days of age.

She attended Seymour Schools and graduated in 1954.

Joan has attended Seymour Holiness Church since 1941. She was born again January 9, 1948, at Seymour Holiness Church and Baptized in March of 1948, in the Finley River. She taught Sunday School for 16 years. She worked at Brawer Brothers Shoe Company from 1960 to 1962.

Joan married Bill Fleetwood on September 28, 1962. She enjoyed cooking, canning, gardening, and going sight-seeing. Her greatest enjoyment was going to church, singing with Bill and Joyce, and enjoying the blessings of the Lord.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Joyce Ann Moore.

She is survived by her husband Bill Fleetwood, cousins, church family, and friends.

Proverbs 31: 10 – 12

10. Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies.

11. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.

12. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.

She truly was a “Proverbs 31 Woman of God”.
