Jimmie Dean Moseley, age 85 of Hartville, Missouri, went home to meet his Lord and Savior on October 15, 2017. He was born January 2, 1932, in Graff, Missouri, to James A. “Gus” and Lois (Shelby) Moseley.
Jimmie was a 1949 graduate of Mountain Grove High School and was a member of Green Valley Baptist Church.
He was drafted into the U.S. Army during the Korean War on February 12, 1952, where he served in Verdun, France, and was honorably discharged on February 12, 1954.
Jimmie attended Draughon School of Business in Springfield, Missouri, and worked for Frisco Railroad in Springfield until 1958. He then moved back to Wright County to farm with his dad.
He was united in marriage to Ruth Lorene Dowden on March 23, 1957, in Springfield, Missouri. Eight children were born to this union.
Jimmie found great joy in his faith, his family, his Gasconade River farm, all animals, and his many friends.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, one brother, Bennie Moseley, and two infant granddaughters, Alexis and Ashley Moseley.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Ruth, four sons, Timmy Moseley, Gregg Moseley and his wife, Carla, Doug Moseley and his wife, Michele, and Jeffrey Moseley and his wife, Ruthie, four daughters, Cheryl Fry, Janet Bergmann and her husband, Stacy, Linda Atchison and her husband, Dean, and Dr. Lori MacPherson, one brother, Jerry Moseley and his wife, Edna, one sister-in-law, Loeata Moseley, one sister, Patsy Jo Wade and her husband, Bill, his step-mother-in-law, Irene Dowden, thirteen grandchildren, Nathan Fry, Shane Fry, Stephani Burton, Noah Moseley, Jacob Moseley, Bridgette Moseley, Lauren Bergmann, Evan Bergmann, Chris Atchison, Kyla Shannon, Sam MacPherson, Gus MacPherson, and Abby Moseley, two step-grandchildren, Whitney Baldwin and Jared Mitchell, ten great-grandchildren, Abby, Tucker, Wyatt, Hudson, Baylor, Allie, Maylie, Mylie, Slade, and Ollie, four step-great-grandchildren, Autumn, Hunter, Sophia, and Josephine, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
