Jessie 'Marie' (Riley) Fullington

Jessie “Marie” Fullington, daughter of the late Lon and Mary (Wells) Riley, was born on September 19, 1921 in Mtn. Grove, Missouri, and passed away on November 3, 2012 in the Kabul Nursing Home in Cabool, Missouri, at 91 years of age.
Marie grew up and attended school in Mtn. Grove. She was united in marriage to Clyde Gorman Hill on July 4, 1939. One son, Gorman, was born to this union. She later married Dale Roland Freeman on December 22, 1945. One son, Norman, was born to this union.
At the time of her passing, she was living in Cabool. She was married to Bennie Fullington on May 11, 1955. One son, Howard Ray, was born to this union.
Marie was employed by Brown Shoe Company in Mtn. Grove and retired after thirty-seven years.
Marie was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who loved life and lived every day to the fullest. She liked fishing, going to yard sales, card playing, canning, having company, and racing her power chair. She loved decorating for the holidays, especially Christmas. She also enjoyed gardening and tending to her roses. She looked forward to family gatherings and having coffee with her neighbors at Pineview Heights in Cabool. She was known for her sense of humor, and was also an excellent cook and an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her son: Howard Ray Fullington; and by four brothers: Ellsworth Riley, Charles Riley, Clarence Riley, and Jerry Riley.
She is survived by her husband, Bennie Fullington of Cabool, Missouri; two sons: Gorman Hill and his wife, Edith, and Norman Freeman and his wife, Sherry, all of Mtn. Grove; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her very much.
