Jerry Keith Gasperson

Jerry Keith Gasperson, son the late Elza and Ann (Strong) Gasperson, was born on March 14, 1944 in Mountain Grove, Missouri, and departed this life on May 27, 2015 at his home in Mountain Grove, Missouri. He was 71 years, 2 months, and 24 days of age.
Jerry was born and raised in the Mountain Grove and Vanzant communities and attended Mountain Grove schools. He went to work for his dad as a plumber for many years.
On December 21, 1962, Jerry was united in marriage to Barbara Walls in Cabool, Missouri. One daughter was born to this union: Joanna Gasperson.
Jerry enjoyed playing pool with his friends, making a big garden, deer hunting, and fishing. He greatly enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and spending time on the farm with his family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Besides his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by two sisters: Barbara Blair and Jean Wake; and one granddaughter: Crystal Dawn Miller.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara, of the home; one daughter: Joanna Gasperson of Mountain Grove, Missouri; one brother: Gerald Gasperson and his wife, Bernice, of Mountain Grove, Missouri; two sisters: Audrey Smith and her husband, Roy, of Vanzant, Missouri, and Franny Wake of Willow Springs, Missouri; three grandchildren: Alicia Hicks and her husband, Timmy, Dolores Finch, and Brittany Shannon and her husband, Ronnie; ten great-grandchildren: Cassidie, Kylee Bug, Kelcee, Corey, Jamison, Riley, Levi, Keyonna Sally Jo, Adrian, and Autumn; and a host of other family and friends.
