Jeffrey Schnurr

June 22, 1960 — December 23, 2020

Jeffrey Schnurr was born June 22, 1960, to William Schnurr and Wanda (Howard) Schnurr Eiszele. Later in his childhood, his mother remarried to Perry Eiszele who was a true father to Jeff. Jeff went home to be with Jesus on December 22, 2020.

Jeff, also known as “Hambone” to his friends, graduated from Sierra Vista High School in 1978 and within a few days, three generations of the family were packed up and on the road for southern Missouri. Jeff settled in rural Wright County where he later met the love of his life, Vickie Sapp, and her children, Brennen and Keasha. Jeff and Vickie were married April 21, 2011.

Jeff had a long career at Jasper Engines and Transmissions, but at heart he was an outdoorsman. He enjoyed camping, fishing, playing darts, hunting for arrowheads, and many other outdoor activities. Jeff was also a huge fan of St. Louis Blues hockey.

Jeff was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Thelma Howard, his father, Perry Eiszele, and his mother, Wanda Eiszele.

Jeff will be sorely missed by his wife, Vickie Schnurr, of their home in Norwood, Missouri, son, Brennen Sapp of Mountain Grove, Missouri, daughter, Keasha Sapp of Springfield, Missouri, brother, Jim Schnurr and his wife, Paulette, of Columbia, Missouri, special friends, Dale and Evelyn Robertson of Mountain Grove, Missouri, aunt, Virginia “Ginny” and uncle, Tony Serghides of Hartville, Missouri, and many other caring friends.
